Description
Since my father was a shrimp boat captain for 25 years, I have loved those little "bugs" my whole life. So it was only fitting to create another Gullah phrase that I would have heard used by the "strikers" or deckhands on Daddy's boat...
Translation: "The Lord put shrimp in the water to make them so sweet..(and the fish venders who walked the streets of Charleston, S.C. many years ago would yell..."Shwimpee, sweet, sweet Schwimpee!!".)
